Everyone our next tournament will be this Saturday March 12^th on Cane River Lake. This will be a trailer tournament. You can launch from any of the 3 main landings. Take off at each landing will be in order of point standings. Also there is a 40mph speed limit on Cane River so therefore there will be NO passing on initial take off. Official take off time will be 6:10 and weigh inn time will be at 3p.m. at Shell Beach Landing. No one is to leave the site of the landing until that time. I just want to remind everyone that you must have your life jacket on and kill switch connected anytime the main engine is running. I was notified last weekend that some members were running around without a life jacket. Coming from someone whose life was saved by a life jacket; this is one rule that will be enforced strictly. I will remind everyone of this at the tournament as well, but if you are caught running without your life jacket you will be disqualified from the tournament. I’m sure by now everyone has seen next week’s forecast for lots of rain and there is a chance if it rains enough that Cane River could be closed. If this happens the 7 board members will vote on an alternate lake if we are notified before too late Friday Night. If this happens I will contact all members with the decision.
