Cane River Tournament 3/07

Ok guys we are going to try this again. This Saturday March 7 we will have our first tournament of the year. This will still be a trailer tournament and official takeoff time will be 6:10 and weigh time will be 3:30. Take off will be in order of last years standings. Its suppose to rain again this week so if the lake is closed again we will fish SOMEWHERE. The board will discuss this week an alternate so that we can be ready if this happens. Hope to see everyone there.

2020 Annual Meeting

Everyone our annual meeting will be January 25 at Longview Baptist Church in Deville. Meeting will start at 5 with food served at 5:30. We will be voting on Lakes, rule changes, and any concerns anyone has. All members and anyone considering joining are invited. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

2020 Proposed Schedule

Everyone,

Below is the proposed schedule for the 2020 season. Some members expressed interest in fishing the Central Louisiana Team fishing trail and asked if I could schedule around it. That’s why some dates are a little different than we usually do it. Also we are going to have to change the Club dues from $30 to $40. We have been at $30 since 2007 and as everyone knows prices of everything has went up since then. All club dues go back into the club (meeting meal, awards, championship, scales, etc). If anyone has any questions or comments just let me know.

Championship Lake

The championship lake has been drawn and Saline/Larto was picked out of the hat. The championship is on 9/21. Overall we had 13 championship qualifiers and had 3 different lakes nominated all with multi nominations. Official practice will be Wednesday (9/11) – Sunday (9/15). Lake will be off limits the entire week before. First place will be $1,200 and second place will pay $415. Remember Championship entry fee is $50.

Toledo Bend Night Tournament AGAIN

OK so lets try this again. Our next tournament will be this Saturday night at Toledo Bend. Times will be 6:30 to 2:30. Weigh inn will be at the Market Basket next to Toledo Town. This is a trailer tournament and the lake will be off limits from daylight Saturday morning till take off time. If anyone is NOT getting into the side pot or will have a guest just let me know. Also the club recieved a bunch of Winn Grip rod samples if anyone would like some i will have them with me at the weigh in. Finally i am working on having an Open Tournament on Saline August 3. I will be posting a flyer this week. If anyone has any questions or comments just give me a call.

TOLEDO BEND NIGHT TOURNAMENT

Due to Hurricane conditions Saturday night, the tournament has been rescheduled to July 27. I will post more updates the weekend before.

TOLEDO BEND NIGHT TOURNAMENT

Everyone our next tournament will be this Saturday night (7/13) at Toledo Bend. Tournament hours will be 6:30pm to 2:30am. Weigh in will be at the market basket next to Toledo Town. This is a trailer tournament and take off will be at 6:30. If anyone is NOT going to get into the side pot or if you are bringing a guest you must let me know before the tournament. If anyone has any questions please let me know.

Black River Lake Tournament

Guys our next tournament will be this Saturday June 29 at Black River Lake out of HorseShoe Marina. It gets daylight around 540-545 so be there early. Weigh in will be at 2pm. Also launch fee is now $10.

Cane River Tournament

Everyone,

Our 4th tournament of the year will be this Saturday (4/20) at Cane River out of Shell Beach Landing. Take off will be in order of standings and there will be no passing since Cane River has a speed limit. Daylight is around 6:30-6:40. Hope to see everyone there.
